REPORT AN ISSUE

Treating someone differently, based on sexual orientation or sexual identity may qualify as discrimination and/or sexual harassment. If you or anyone you know in the John Jay College community has been treated inappropriately due to your LGBTQ identity and would like to discuss making a complaint, you may contact Silvia Montalban, the Director of Compliance & Diversity at John Jay College at (646) 557-4409 or at smontalban@jjay.cuny.edu. Ms. Montalban can answer your questions and provide guidance about the complaint and investigation process. You may also contact any member of the Sexual Harassment Awareness and Intake Committee:

  • You have a concern about any aspect of student life at the College
  • You are unsure about the policies, rights, procedures, and responsibilities that apply to your situation.
