ABLE Forces Club

To unite all students for educational and voluntary activities to establish and maintain active members throughout John Jay College of Criminal Justice. To foster improvement of the educational and vocational status of disable people with special emphasis on teaching said disable individuals and they can do anything they set their mind to do. To assist said disable individual through broadening their educational objectives by encouragement, dissemination of information and financial assistance; and to promote the beneficial use of acquired education and /or training to the best of the John Jay Community.

Dominican Students Association

The Dominican Students Association will serve as a guide for its members who want to learn about Dominican culture. By bringing together Dominican students, the Dominican Students Association will serve as a living encyclopedia for any member who wants to learn about Dominican culture. Furthermore, the Dominican Students Association will seek to promote Dominican culture among other groups, clubs and nationalities in the John Jay community. Through meetings, lectures and events the Dominican Students Association will try to erase many of the stereotypes that may exist against Dominicans and by the same token foster Dominican music, history, folklore, food, heritage and culture in a more positive way. This club will relevant issues affecting the Dominican community in John Jay College and around the world.

The purpose of this organization shall be to raise awareness of the HIV/AIDS pandemic on campus and to raise funds for the Keep a Child Alive Organization so that we can help provide HIV/AIDS medication for orphans and families in countries in Africa and in India.

Muslim Students Association

Our motivation to reach out beyond race, religion, country, and culture is provided in our Holy book, the Quran. Surpassing all difference and shinning light on the Muslim way of life, it is not our goal, but also our duty to create intellectual awareness of Islam.
